WOD-PD Program

The event will last two days and feature six sessions, each starting with an introductory keynote, followed by a hands-on session where the attendees can actively experiment with existing tools and get together with leading researchers and other practitioners.

Web of Data 101:

Keith Alexander (Talis, UK) and Yves Raimond (Queen Mary University of London/BBC Audio & Music Interactive, UK) will give an introduction to Semantic Technology in the context of the Web and demonstrate existing projects.

Sören Auer (University of Leipzig, Germany) and Orri Erling (OpenLink Software) present solutions for integrating existing data sources (e.g. relational database systems) into Semantic Web applications.
